Hole saw GRAPHITE 57H918 — 1 pc, 72 g
GRAPHITE 57H918 — 1 pc, 72 g is a compact bimetal hole saw designed for cutting precise circular openings in a variety of materials. Supplied as a single unit, this hole cutter features progressive HSS teeth that provide efficient cutting performance and extended tool life. The lightweight design makes it easy to handle and suitable for use with standard drill and arbor setups, enabling clean holes in steel, stainless steel, wood, plastics and composite materials.
The bimetal construction combines flexibility and hardness to resist breakage while maintaining cutting strength. Progressive high-speed steel teeth reduce vibration and improve chip evacuation for smoother, more accurate cuts. Its compact weight and single-piece packaging simplify transport and storage, and the hole saw is compatible with common drill adapters and arbors for straightforward installation.
Secure the hole saw to a compatible arbor or adapter and tighten according to the arbor manufacturer's instructions. Mark the center of the required opening and, if possible, use a pilot drill or pilot bit to improve guidance. Start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed as appropriate for the material. Apply steady, moderate pressure and allow the tool to cut without forcing it; periodically withdraw the cutter to clear chips and prevent overheating. After cutting, deburr the hole edges as needed.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves. For metal applications, use cutting lubricant to extend tool life and improve finish. Match drill speed and feed to the material being cut; lower speeds are recommended for stainless steel and harder alloys. Inspect the hole saw for wear or damage before use and replace if teeth are worn or missing.
