How to use

Install the adapter into a compatible drill arbor and secure the hole saw to the adapter according to the arbor instructions. Fit the pilot drill into the arbor and clamp the drill chuck tightly. Mark the centre of the intended cut on the workpiece, position the pilot tip on the mark, and start the drill at low speed to establish the groove. Increase speed gradually while applying steady, even pressure. For metal cutting use cutting lubricant and moderate feed to extend life of the pilot and saw teeth. If the pilot drill becomes dull, replace it with the spare included in the pack to maintain cutting accuracy.

Usage recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection and gloves. Match drill speed and feed to the workpiece material, and clamp the workpiece securely before cutting. For prolonged metal cutting, apply light cutting oil and periodically withdraw the saw to clear chips and cool the cutter.
