SDS Max concrete drill bit GRAPHITE 32 x 1200 mm S4 quatro
GRAPHITE SDS Max concrete drill bit 32 x 1200 mm S4 cuatro is a long-length masonry drill designed for rotary hammer use in concrete, reinforced concrete and brick. The 32 mm diameter and 1200 mm overall length provide reach for deep anchor holes and through-drilling in construction and installation tasks. The S4 cuatro flute design and SDS Max shank ensure stable chip evacuation and reliable connection to compatible rotary hammers.
The S4 cuatro flute profile improves dust and debris removal during deep drilling, reducing clogging and helping maintain drilling speed. The SDS Max shank provides a secure, play-free connection to rotary hammers with SDS Max chucks, which contributes to consistent percussion transfer and longer tool life. The 1200 mm length is suited for installing long anchors, passing cables or pipes through thick elements, and for applications where extended reach is required without jointed extensions.
Select a rotary hammer with SDS Max chuck compatible with the drill bit. Mark the drilling position and secure the workpiece or ensure stable stance. Insert the SDS Max shank fully into the tool chuck and engage the locking mechanism. Start drilling at low speed to seat the bit and then apply steady pressure with hammer function enabled; avoid excessive lateral force. Periodically withdraw the bit to clear debris, especially when drilling deep holes, and allow the tool to cool if continuous long drilling generates high temperatures.
When drilling reinforced concrete, use controlled feed pressure and short intermittent pulls to remove dust. For through-drilling, confirm alignment and inspect both entry and exit surfaces. Use appropriate personal protective equipment — eye protection, hearing protection and dust mask — and ensure dust extraction or wet drilling where required by the work environment.
