GreenPan Barcelona Pro all-purpose round pan, 200 mm diameter and 24.5 mm depth, weighing 1.58 kg, offers a durable cookware option for everyday frying, sautéing and general stovetop use. The pan features a black finish and a PFAS-free Thermolon™ Infinity Professional ceramic non-stick coating with Scratch Guard™ technology. Its construction includes an extra-thick aluminum body, a BalancePro™ base designed to stay flat under heat, a seamless rivetless interior and a Pro-Tec reinforced rim. The cast stainless steel handle provides a mirror-finish contrast to the black exterior and supports oven use up to 220°C.
The PFAS-free Thermolon™ ceramic non-stick coating reduces the need for oil and supports easier cleaning while offering enhanced scratch resistance. The thick aluminum body and Magneto induction technology improve heat distribution and compatibility with induction cooktops. The BalancePro™ base maintains flatness during heating to keep fats and liquids distributed evenly. A seamless interior prevents food from becoming trapped and the reinforced rim adds mechanical durability for everyday use.
Place the pan on a suitable hob (gas, electric, ceramic, halogen or induction) and preheat on low to medium heat. Add a small amount of oil or butter if desired; the Thermolon™ ceramic non-stick surface allows for reduced fat usage. Use wooden, silicone or heat-resistant nylon utensils to avoid damaging the Scratch Guard™ coating. After cooking, allow the pan to cool slightly before washing. Handwashing with warm soapy water and a soft sponge is recommended to preserve the coating and the pan's finish. The handle remains cool enough for safe handling on the stovetop, and the pan can be transferred to an oven up to 220°C when required.
To extend the functional life of the non-stick coating, avoid overheating an empty pan and do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads. For best results on induction hobs ensure the base makes full contact with the cooktop surface. Store the pan without stacking heavy items on its cooking surface or place a protective layer between pans if stacking is necessary.
