How to use

Install the Petra Glass hood into the upper kitchen cabinet following the required minimum distances: at least 50 cm above electric hobs and 65 cm above gas or combination hobs. Connect to the ductwork or set up for recirculation using the supplied non-return valve and the 150–120 mm transition. If your hob supports SmartLink, connect the hood to the hob to enable automatic extraction adjustment; manual controls remain available. Use the Gesture Control sensor to switch the hood on or off and to change fan speeds with horizontal hand swipes; hold your hand under the motion detector for about two seconds to toggle the light. Use the timer to set automatic shutdown when needed.

Usage recommendations

For optimal performance, ensure regular replacement or cleaning of the charcoal filter when used in recirculation mode, and maintain the motion sensor area free of grease and heavy soiling to preserve reliable Gesture Control operation.
