Description

Handheld carbon monoxide detector Greisinger GCO-100 with LCD display for measuring CO concentration in ambient air and exhausts. The compact portable monitor is intended for checks of boilers, heating systems and workplace or home environments. It detects carbon monoxide quickly and notifies the user with visual and audible alarms when measured concentrations exceed a user-set threshold or the occupational exposure limit.

Advantages

The instrument offers fast detection of CO emissions, selectable automatic or manual zero calibration, and stores minimum and maximum measured values. The display shows readings in ppm, mg/m³ and as an estimated COHb percentage. Additional features include data-hold, auto power-off, three alarm functions, a serial interface and a power-supply jack for 10.5–12 V DC. The device is lightweight and designed for portable use.

How to use

Switch on the GCO-100 and allow the sensor to stabilise; perform an automatic or manual zero calibration if required. Hold the detector in the area to be tested or connect an external hose or mouthpiece to sample exhaust gases. Read the CO concentration on the LCD in ppm, mg/m³ or estimated COHb. Use the Min/Max memory and data-hold functions to review peak or captured readings. Connect a compatible DC power supply via the jack when extended operation is needed.
