Water Detector Wired Güde 7313

Leakage Point Sensor 7313 is a wired water detector designed to monitor rooms for potential flooding by conductive liquids such as fresh water and salt water. The sensor has a 2.5 m attached cable with free cable ends that are connected to the appropriate terminal inputs of a compatible GUDE device. When both electrodes are wetted by a conductive liquid, the sensor closes the circuit and sends a leakage signal to the connected GUDE product.

How to use

Connect the free cable ends of the sensor to the appropriate terminal inputs of a compatible GUDE device or PTR multiconnector following the controller manufacturer’s wiring diagram. Place the sensor at the location most likely to detect leaks (floor level, near drains or appliance outlets) using the attached 2.5 m cable to reach the installation point. Ensure the two electrode contacts are exposed and positioned so that a pooling conductive liquid will wet both electrodes. Verify correct operation by testing according to the connected GUDE device instructions.

Usage recommendations

Install the sensor where water is most likely to collect and avoid placing it where regular splashing or cleaning water will cause frequent false alarms. Confirm compatibility with the GUDE product and wiring method before installation. Periodically inspect the cable and electrodes for corrosion or damage and perform functional tests after maintenance or system changes.
