How to use

Insert the two supplied AAA batteries, switch the detector on and allow approximately 30 seconds for the unit to stabilise. Sweep the detector probe or front end across joints, fittings and connections where leaks are suspected. Monitor the LCD for gas concentration readings; the device will sound, flash and vibrate when gas is detected. After use, switch the unit off or allow it to enter automatic shutdown to conserve battery life.

Usage recommendations

For reliable detection, perform a brief warm-up before measurements and move the detector slowly near potential leak points. Use in well-ventilated areas when possible and replace batteries when the low battery indicator is shown. Do not use the device as a substitute for fixed gas detection systems where continuous monitoring is required.
