How to use
Install a 9V (6F22) battery in the compartment, switch the device on and choose the required detection mode (metal, wood, AC or cavity) using the function buttons. Hold the detector flat against the surface to be scanned and slowly move it across the area. Observe the LCD and listen for audible signals; the five-step intensity indicator shows proximity to the detected object (stronger signal = closer). When detecting live AC wiring, follow safety precautions and avoid contact with exposed conductors.
Recommendations
Before drilling or cutting, scan the entire intended area in multiple directions to confirm the position of any concealed objects. Replace the battery when display or sound signals weaken. Use the detector on dry surfaces and keep it clean and stored in its case to maintain accuracy.
