HAMA Profi Line UV Nano 55 mm is a professional ultraviolet (UV) camera filter made from high-quality lens glass. It reduces haze and unwanted blue cast from UV light, improving image clarity and color reproduction while providing permanent protection for the front element of the lens against dust, scratches and minor impacts.

Advantages

The filter features an NMC16 multi-layer vapour-deposited coating with eight layers on each side for excellent light transmission and anti-reflective properties. A nano-coating creates a lotus effect that repels water, oil and dirt, makes cleaning easier and prevents misting. Both front and back surfaces are coated to avoid loss of contrast, ghosting and double images. The anodised metal mount with blackened inner edges and edge sealant reduces reflections and contamination, while the ultra-thin wide mount minimises vignetting and can remain mounted permanently without noticeably increasing the lens front size.
