The Hama Profi Line Circular polarising camera filter 55 mm with Multi Resistant Coating (MRC) is a precision rotary polariser designed to reduce reflections, improve colour saturation and increase contrast. Manufactured from high-quality lens glass and housed in an ultra-flat, lightweight metal mount, the filter removes non-metallic reflections from surfaces such as water, glass and plastic and provides real-time image effects that cannot be fully reproduced in post-processing. The filter also serves as simultaneous front-lens protection.

How to use

Attach the 55 mm circular polariser to the front thread of a compatible lens and rotate the outer ring to adjust the degree of polarisation. For strongest effect, position the camera at approximately 30–40° to the reflecting surface; rotate the filter while observing the viewfinder or live view until reflections are reduced and desired contrast and colour saturation are achieved. Remove or reduce the filter effect when shooting metallic reflections or when no polarisation is required.

Usage recommendations
