Liquid environment thermometer Hama 00186402
The Hama 00186402 liquid environment thermometer provides simple, continuous temperature monitoring for indoor and outdoor spaces. Encased in a slim white housing, the thermometer displays temperature in °C and has a compact profile with a width of 25 mm, depth of 9 mm and height of 180 mm. Its liquid column sensor gives an immediate, analog reading without batteries or electronic maintenance, suitable for windowsills, balconies, greenhouses or room walls where a basic, reliable temperature indication is required.
The thermometer offers straightforward, low-maintenance operation thanks to its liquid column measurement principle, eliminating the need for power sources. Its narrow, lightweight design allows for versatile mounting and placement in confined spaces. The white housing provides neutral styling that integrates easily with most interiors and exterior fixtures. Measurements are presented in Celsius and the construction is intended for continuous ambient monitoring.
Select an installation location away from direct heat sources such as radiators, ovens or direct sunlight to obtain representative ambient readings. Attach or place the thermometer on a stable vertical surface at eye level for easy reading, or mount it on a window frame for outdoor monitoring. Allow a few minutes after positioning for the liquid column to stabilise and show the current temperature. Read the scale in degrees Celsius to determine the ambient temperature.
For consistent results, avoid placing the thermometer near doors that open frequently or close to heating/cooling vents. If using outdoors, position the thermometer under an overhang or shaded area to reduce direct exposure to precipitation and sunlight. Clean the housing with a soft cloth; do not immerse the device in water.
