Dome IP security camera Hanwha QNP-6250H Outdoor 1080p, 1/2.8" CMOS, 4.44–111 mm varifocal, ceiling/wall mount
Hanwha QNP-6250H is an outdoor dome IP security camera that captures Full HD 1920×1080 video using a 1/2.8" CMOS image sensor and a 4.44–111 mm varifocal lens. The camera supports wired network connectivity and is designed for ceiling or wall mounting. Its mechanical tilt range supports near-PTZ operation with tilt from −15° to 90° and fast tilt speed up to 200°/s. The sensor and lens combination provides low-light sensitivity down to 0.05 lx and long detection ranges suitable for perimeter, parking lot and entrance surveillance.
The QNP-6250H features a compact, lightweight dome design that reduces installation effort and load on mounting structures. Increased pan/tilt responsiveness and refined PTZ-like control enable stable monitoring and efficient manual tracking of moving objects. The varifocal 4.44–111 mm lens gives a wide-to-telephoto range for flexible framing, while the Full HD resolution and low-light performance support clear identification at distance.
Install the camera on a suitable ceiling or wall bracket ensuring the mounting surface can support the device weight and providing the required field of view. Connect the camera to the wired network and power source following the manufacturer’s installation guidance. Use the varifocal lens to adjust focal length and zoom for the required coverage, then set tilt angle within the −15° to 90° range to aim at areas of interest. Configure IP settings, video quality, and detection ranges in the camera’s web interface or management software before putting the camera into active monitoring.
For perimeter and long-range monitoring, start with a telephoto focal length and verify detection distances in representative lighting conditions; for wide-area coverage, set a shorter focal length. Regularly verify tilt adjustment and firmware updates to maintain responsiveness of the PTZ-like tilt control and optimal low-light performance.
