Cutting wire HAZET 4852-7
Cutting wire HAZET 4852-7 is a thin copper wire 0.8 mm in diameter and 22 m long, manufactured in Germany. Designed for extraction of glued car windows and other precise cutting tasks, the wire is lightweight (90 g) and easy to handle while retaining adequate strength for controlled cutting operations.
The HAZET 4852-7 offers a slim 0.8 mm profile that enables access into narrow seams and gaps without damaging surrounding surfaces. Its 22 m length provides extended reach for multiple cuts or large glazing jobs. Being made of copper, the wire balances flexibility and tensile strength and the low weight (90 g) reduces operator fatigue during repetitive use.
Thread the cutting wire into the gap between the glued part and the frame, using appropriate guides or handles to control the wire. Move the wire back and forth with steady, controlled motions to slice through the adhesive while protecting painted surfaces and trim. For safety and best results, work slowly along the seam and reposition the wire as needed to maintain cutting angle and tension.
Use protective gloves and eye protection when handling the cutting wire. Combine the wire with suitable pulling tools or handles to improve control. Avoid excessive force that could scratch glass or body panels; if adhesive is particularly hard, heat or adhesive softeners may be applied according to vehicle manufacturer guidance.
