Click torque wrench HAZET 5123-3CT
The HAZET 5123-3CT click torque wrench is a mechanical, reversible ratchet torque wrench with a 1/2" (12.5 mm) square drive and a total length of 628 mm. It delivers precise torque application with accuracy of ±3% of the scale value in the direction of actuation (5107-3 CT ±4% release tolerance) and is designed for robust workshop use across tyre service, bicycle, passenger car and commercial vehicle maintenance, and various trade and industry applications. The tool is made in Germany, supplied in a sturdy Hexa plastic box and includes a calibration certificate with serial number.
The wrench features a user-friendly reversible ratchet, optimised sealing ring to protect against debris, and a handle with slip protection for improved grip and power transmission. A ratchet repair set allows customer self-assembly for long service life. The scale bush has permanent laser marking for high-contrast, easy-to-read scale and lasting readability. A triangular rotary assembly prevents uncontrolled rolling and includes lock symbols and a latching function to securely lock setting values. Integrated shift lever versions (5121-3 CT – 5145-3 CT) offer a free-running function to reduce risk of injury and malfunction. The design is validated by testing to DIN EN ISO 6789-2:2017.
Set the desired torque by turning the handle until the detent points of the adjustment aid align with the required value; the latching on the rotary assembly locks the setting. Attach the wrench to the fastener with the 1/2" square drive, apply torque in the intended direction until the palpable and audible click indicates the set torque has been reached, then stop applying force. The reversible ratchet allows change of direction as required. Use the integrated shift lever or free-running function where available to switch between set and free-running modes.
Use the wrench within its calibrated torque range and follow the supplied calibration certificate for periodic recalibration. Keep the sealing ring and ratchet repair set components clean and replace worn parts as needed to maintain accuracy. Store the tool in the provided Hexa plastic box when not in use. Continuous long-term tests on similar 5000 and 6000 series models have shown no need to turn the wrench back to the smallest scale value after use.
