Rotary hammer drill bit Heller Bionic Pro SDS-plus 10 mm x 160 mm, 1 pc
Heller Bionic Pro SDS-plus 10 mm x 160 mm is a single-piece drill bit engineered for use with SDS-plus rotary hammers. The 10 mm cutting diameter and 160 mm overall length provide a balance between reach and rigidity for drilling into concrete, masonry and natural stone. The SDS-plus shank allows fast, secure insertion and transfer of percussion energy from compatible rotary hammer chucks, making this bit suitable for anchor holes, through-holes and other standard construction drilling tasks.
The Bionic Pro design combines a robust carbide tip with a fluted steel body to maintain cutting performance and chip evacuation during heavy-duty use. The SDS-plus connection ensures consistent impact transmission and minimizes play in the chuck for accurate drilling. Built to withstand repeated use in abrasive materials, this drill bit offers reliable hole quality and dimensional stability under percussion loads.
Insert the SDS-plus shank fully into a compatible rotary hammer chuck until it locks. Select the rotary hammer's hammering mode for drilling into concrete, masonry or stone. Apply steady pressure and allow the tool's percussion action to advance the bit; avoid excessive lateral force to prevent bit deflection and premature wear. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear dust and debris from the hole, and reduce feed pressure when breaking through to the opposite side.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety goggles, hearing protection and dust mask) and, for reinforced concrete, check for reinforcing bars before drilling. For extended life, remove debris frequently and use water only if recommended by the rotary hammer manufacturer; match drill diameter and length to anchor and fixture specifications.
