IP bullet security camera Hikvision DS-2CD1A43G0-IZU (2.8–12 mm), 2560×1444, outdoor wall mount, white
Hikvision DS-2CD1A43G0-IZU is a wired IP bullet security camera designed for outdoor wall mounting. It records at 2560×1444 resolution using a CMOS sensor and supports 30 fps video. The camera is equipped with a 2.8–12 mm varifocal lens providing a horizontal field of view from 96.7° (wide) to 29.7° (tele), and it connects via Ethernet LAN. Motion detection is built in, and the device is intended for perimeter, parking lot and façade surveillance where a compact, weather-resistant bullet camera is required.
The camera combines high-resolution imaging with a varifocal lens that allows flexible framing from wide-angle to telephoto viewing without changing the body. Wired Ethernet connectivity ensures a stable network connection for continuous recording and remote monitoring. With motion detection, the camera can trigger alerts or recordings when activity occurs in the monitored area. Its white weather-resistant housing and wall-mount design make it suitable for discreet installation on building exteriors.
Mount the camera on a suitable outdoor wall using appropriate anchors and fasteners for the substrate. Connect the camera to the network via Ethernet cable; provide power according to your system design (PoE if supported by your network switch or separate power source as required). Configure basic settings such as resolution, frame rate and motion detection through the recorder or camera web interface. Position and adjust the varifocal lens to achieve the desired field of view, then confirm focus and framing in the live view. Test motion detection zones and sensitivity to avoid false alarms from irrelevant movement.
Install the camera under a small canopy or with a sunshield if direct sun, heavy rain or snow exposure is expected. Use stable Ethernet cabling and surge protection for outdoor runs. For perimeter or long-distance monitoring, use the telephoto range of the varifocal lens; select the wide setting for broader area coverage. Regularly check and clean the lens cover and verify firmware updates to maintain reliable operation.
