IP Security Camera Hikvision Value Series DS-2CD1643G2-LIZU 1920x1080
The Hikvision Value Series DS-2CD1643G2-LIZU 1920x1080 is a wired bullet IP security camera designed for both indoor and outdoor installation. It outputs Full HD (1920 x 1080) video at up to 30 fps and comes in a white housing with wall-mount capability. The camera has a motorized varifocal lens with a focal length range of 2.8–12 mm, a horizontal field of view from 96.7° to 29.7° and a vertical field of view from 51.7° to 16.7°. It supports 360° rotation for flexible orientation and offers detection coverage up to 64 m. The model integrates wired Ethernet connectivity and built-in video motion detection, and it is part of Hikvision’s Value Series that includes low-light imaging and intelligent motion analytics.
The DS-2CD1643G2-LIZU delivers reliable Full HD imagery and a motorized zoom/focus mechanism that simplifies remote framing. Its wide focal range and adjustable viewing angles allow versatile scene coverage while the 360° rotation capability helps align the camera precisely during installation. Wired Ethernet connectivity provides stable network performance, and built-in motion detection supports event-driven recording and alerts. The compact white bullet design is suitable for discrete placement on walls both indoors and outdoors.
Mount the camera on a stable wall surface using appropriate anchors and align the housing so the lens faces the area to be monitored. Connect the camera to power and your network via Ethernet and configure IP settings through your network video recorder (NVR) or Hikvision-compatible management software. Use the motorized lens controls to adjust focal length and focus remotely to obtain a clear, well-framed image. Enable motion detection and configure sensitivity and notification settings to suit the monitored scene.
Position the camera at a height and angle that reduce direct backlighting and avoid aiming it toward strong light sources. For outdoor installations, ensure seals and cable entries are properly weatherproofed. When monitoring long distances, start with a narrower focal length setting within the 2.8–12 mm range and fine-tune focus to balance field of view and subject detail. Regularly check firmware updates and integrate the camera into retention and backup policies for recorded footage.
