IP security camera Hikvision DS-2CD1643G2-LIZU bullet 2 MP, 2.8–12 mm motorized lens, IR/white light, IP67, PoE/DC
Hikvision DS-2CD1643G2-LIZU is a 2 MP bullet IP security camera with a motorized 2.8–12 mm varifocal lens and built-in IR/white light for night illumination up to 50 m. The camera supports 1920 x 1080 resolution at 30 fps, H.264/H.264+ compression, 120 dB WDR and day/night switching. The housing is weatherproof (IP67) and suitable for indoor and outdoor mounting; power can be supplied via Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) or 12 V DC. Local storage is available via a MicroSDHC card (up to 512 GB), and the device supports remote management through common network protocols and Hikvision clients.
The camera offers a motorized varifocal lens (2.8–12 mm) for flexible field of view adjustment, extended dynamic range (120 dB) for improved detail in high-contrast scenes, and integrated IR/white light for color and monochrome imaging at night. It supports PoE for simplified installation, multiple security features including HTTPS encryption and tamper alarm, and onboard audio and MicroSD recording. Robust IP67-rated plastic housing and operating temperature range from -30 to 60 °C allow reliable use in harsh environments.
Mount the bullet camera on a wall or other suitable surface using the supplied bracket and secure all cable connections. Power the device via PoE (IEEE 802.3af) through the network cable or connect a 12 V DC supply. Insert a compatible MicroSDHC card up to 512 GB if local recording is required. Configure network settings, user accounts and recording parameters via the web-based interface or Hik-Connect/iVMS-4200 client, and adjust the motorized lens remotely or manually to set the desired field of view and focus.
For stable remote operation use a PoE-enabled switch or injector and ensure the network supports the required bandwidth for H.264 streams. Place the camera to avoid direct exposure to strong light sources that may affect WDR performance. Regularly update firmware via the official Hikvision tools and schedule periodic checks of the lens, housing seals and recorded footage to maintain reliable outdoor surveillance.
