IP security camera Hikvision HM-TD3028T-2/Q(B) — 2688×1520, IP67, wired, wall mount, 1.4 mm lens, 4x digital zoom
Hikvision HM-TD3028T-2/Q(B) is a wired IP security camera designed for indoor and outdoor perimeter and infrastructure monitoring. It combines a 2688×1520 color CMOS channel with an integrated thermal module based on an uncooled Vanadium Oxide focal plane array, providing thermal imaging with a 90° horizontal and 64.2° vertical field of view. The camera uses a 1.4 mm fixed focal lens on the optical channel, offers 4× digital zoom, and is built to IP67 environmental protection for reliable operation in exposed locations.
The dual-channel design with both high-resolution optical and thermal imaging enables detection and verification in varied lighting and weather conditions. Thermal sensing supports point, line and area temperature measurement and includes an exception alarm to notify of temperature anomalies. The optical channel delivers detailed 2688×1520 imagery from a compact CMOS sensor, with 4× digital zoom and image processing such as 3D digital noise reduction and detail enhancement to improve clarity. The IP67-rated housing and wall-mount form factor simplify installation for permanent outdoor monitoring.
Install the camera on a stable wall-mounted bracket at a height and angle that provide the desired coverage for perimeter or entrance areas. Connect the device to a wired Ethernet network for power and data, following site cabling and grounding best practices. Configure the optical and thermal channels through the device web interface or management software to set resolution, digital zoom levels and image enhancement options. For thermal monitoring, define measurement points, lines or areas and set temperature thresholds to enable automated exception alarms.
Position the camera to include both the area of interest and a temperature reference when accurate thermal measurements are required. Use the optical channel for identification and the thermal channel for detection — combine both in the monitoring workflow. Regularly clean the enclosure and verify calibration of temperature measurement settings after any significant environmental changes or service events.
