IP camera HiLook IPC-B140HA-LUC bullet 4MP Smart‑hybrid Light
HiLook IPC-B140HA-LUC bullet 4MP Smart-hybrid Light is a compact IP camera that captures 4-megapixel network video in a tubular, weather-resistant housing. The camera combines a high-resolution image sensor with Smart-hybrid Light technology to provide usable color images in low-light conditions and improved detail for perimeter and entrance monitoring. It is designed for both indoor and outdoor installation when mounted, offering common network video features suitable for property surveillance and general security applications.
The camera delivers 4MP resolution for clearer identification of faces and objects compared with lower-resolution models. Smart-hybrid Light functionality enhances night performance by combining supplemental lighting control with image processing to preserve color and detail in dim environments. The bullet form factor provides a compact, directional mounting solution that is straightforward to position for targeted coverage. Network connectivity enables remote monitoring and integration with standard surveillance systems.
This model is optimized for fixed, directional monitoring and is not intended as a pan/tilt/zoom solution for wide-area dynamic tracking. Environments that require very long-range identification beyond typical bullet camera ranges or extreme low-light performance without any auxiliary lighting may need more specialized optics or additional illumination.
Mount the camera on a stable surface such as a wall or ceiling using compatible mounting hardware and ensure the camera is angled to cover the intended area. Connect the camera to the network following the manufacturer’s network setup procedure and configure IP settings, user accounts, and recording options in your NVR or video management system. Adjust the camera aim and focus as needed to achieve the desired field of view and verify Smart-hybrid Light settings for optimal night performance. Regularly check connections, firmware updates, and image quality as part of routine maintenance.
Position the camera to cover key approach routes such as gates, entrances, and driveways. Use a secure network configuration and integrate the camera with a compatible NVR or VMS to enable continuous recording and remote monitoring. Test night-mode behavior at installation time and adjust supplemental lighting if required to maintain recognizable color and detail after dark.
