HiSmart sKey 2 is a standalone access control keypad with an integrated card reader, suitable for single-door or small-site installations. How to use

Mount the HiSmart sKey 2 on a wall at the desired door and wire the device to the lock, exit button, door sensor and alarm according to the supplied connection diagram. Power the unit with DC 12–24 V. Program user cards and PINs through the device interface following the included setup instructions. Choose the preferred access mode (card, PIN or card+PIN) and set the relay output time (0–99 seconds) for lock activation. Test card reading distance (2–5 cm) and confirm correct operation of exit button and sensors before regular use.

Usage recommendations

For reliable outdoor operation, install the unit under a small overhang where possible to reduce direct exposure to heavy rain and sunlight. Regularly back up user credentials if your workflow requires reprogramming, and use the appropriate card type (EM/HID or MIFARE/NFC/CPU) that matches your credential inventory.
