Olympic rubber-coated weight disc HMS TOH02 — 2.5 kg, Ø 20 cm, 51 mm bore
HMS TOH02 is an Olympic rubber-coated weight disc weighing 2.5 kg designed for use with 51 mm (Olympic) bars. The plate is made from durable steel with a protective rubber outer layer that reduces impact noise, protects flooring and nearby equipment, and simplifies cleaning. The disc has a 20 cm diameter and a 51 mm central bore; it is supplied as a single 2.5 kg plate suitable for barbell sets, home gyms and commercial gym use.
The rubber coating provides shock absorption and surface protection while maintaining the plate's aesthetic appearance. Robust steel construction ensures long service life and stable dimensions for safe loading on Olympic bars. Three ergonomic grip holes allow easy handling and quick changes on the bar, and the plate can also be used as an alternative handheld weight for accessory exercises.
Slide the plate onto a 51 mm Olympic bar and secure it with appropriate collars or clamps before beginning lifts. Use the grip holes to carry, load and unload the plate safely; when used as a handheld weight, maintain controlled movements and proper posture. Clean the rubber surface with a mild detergent and soft cloth; avoid harsh chemicals that can degrade the coating.
For safe training, check that collars are firmly fastened and that plates are evenly distributed on both sides of the bar. Avoid dropping the plate from significant heights to extend the life of the rubber coating and protect flooring, even though the rubber reduces impact. Store plates in a dry area away from direct sunlight to preserve the rubber surface.
