Diamond core drill bit Högert Technik HT8B230 — Tarnik Prosty Ø125 mm
Diamond core drill bit Högert Technik Tarnik Prosty HT8B230 with a 125 mm working diameter is designed for cutting circular openings in masonry, concrete, brick and similar construction materials. The tool features a cylindrical steel core body with a diamond-segment cutting edge that provides efficient material removal and extended service life when used in compatible core drilling rigs or rotary drills with the correct arbor.
The diamond-segment rim ensures fast penetration and steady cutting performance while reducing vibration and overheating. A solid cylindrical core body delivers stability during drilling and simplifies debris extraction from the hole. The construction offers good wear resistance on abrasive materials and maintains roundness of the drilled aperture for precise installation of pipes, conduits and fixtures.
Secure the core drill bit in a compatible arbor or chuck following the drill manufacturer’s instructions. Mark the center of the required opening and position the drill perpendicular to the work surface. Start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed and use consistent pressure without forcing the tool. For reinforced concrete, use intermittent operation and coolant or water where applicable to reduce heat and extend diamond segment life. Clear the core and debris periodically to maintain cutting efficiency.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, gloves and respiratory protection when working with concrete dust. Match drill speed and feed rate to the material hardness and follow the drill rig manufacturer’s guidance for coolant use. Inspect the arbor fit and tighten securely before operation to ensure safe and accurate drilling.
