Stationary Bandsaw Holzmann BS275TOP_400V
The Holzmann BS275TOP_400V is a stationary bandsaw designed for metalworking in professional workshops. It features a 1500 W motor, two-step gear drive and adjustable blade speeds from 37.5 to 75 m/min, supporting a maximum cutting height of 225 mm and mitre cuts with a frame swivel up to 60°. Built on a rugged cast iron setup and weighing 195 kg, the machine runs from a 400 V AC supply and is intended for heavy-duty, precision cutting tasks.
The bandsaw combines a powerful motor and a two-step gear-driven transmission to maintain consistent cutting performance across a range of blade speeds. A rigid, torsion-resistant cast iron frame and a hydraulically controlled downfeed provide vibration-free operation and steady feed control. The saw includes an adjustable five-point ball bearing blade guide and an integrated manometer for precise blade tensioning, together contributing to accurate and repeatable cuts. The robust vice with quick-release lever and workpiece limit stop increases clamping convenience and setup speed.
This model is intended for professional and industrial environments with 400 V three-phase power and a solid mounting surface. It may not be suitable for small hobbyist garages, locations without a 400 V supply, or very light occasional home use where a smaller, portable bandsaw would be more practical. Transport and installation require handling for a machine weighing around 195 kg.
Secure the machine on a stable foundation and connect it to a compatible 400 V power supply following local electrical regulations. Fit the correct saw blade (2480 x 27 x 0.9 mm) and set blade tension using the integrated manometer. Adjust blade speed according to the material and section to be cut, and set the saw frame swivel for mitre cuts as required. Clamp the workpiece in the cast iron vice using the quick-release lever and workpiece limit stop, then set the hydraulic downfeed to provide a controlled feed rate. Check blade guides and guards before each use and monitor cutting progress, adjusting tension or speed if necessary.
Use appropriate cutting speeds and feed settings for the specific metal type, maintain correct blade tension via the manometer, and ensure the five-point blade guide is properly adjusted to minimize blade deflection. Regularly check and lubricate moving parts, and replace blades matching the specified dimensions to preserve cutting accuracy and machine longevity.
