Extension bar 1/4" 150 mm Honiton H2150 – socket driver accessory
Honiton H2150 is a 1/4" (6.35 mm) drive extension bar with a length of 150 mm, designed as an accessory for 1/4" sockets, ratchets and T-handles. The extension provides extra reach to access recessed fasteners and confined spaces where a standard socket or driver cannot reach, making it suitable for automotive, electrical and general mechanical tasks that require extended access.
The 150 mm extension bar increases reach without sacrificing torsional strength, enabling work on deep-set bolts and nuts. Its standard 1/4" square drive fits common sockets and hand tools, ensuring compatibility with existing sets. The slim cylindrical form helps navigate tight passages while maintaining a secure connection between the socket and the driving tool.
This extension bar is intended for light to medium torque applications with 1/4" drive tools. It is not intended to replace larger drive sizes or heavy-duty breaker bars for high-torque tasks. Using the extension with excessive force, impact tools, or cheater bars can lead to bending or damage.
Select a socket that matches the fastener head and attach it to the 1/4" end of the extension until it locks. Fit the opposite end onto the drive of a ratchet, T-handle or other compatible hand tool. Position the socket on the fastener and apply controlled torque with the driving tool. For removal, turn in the opposite direction and keep the extension straight to avoid side loading. Inspect the extension for wear or deformation before use.
Use the extension with hand ratchets or T-handles for controlled torque applications and avoid impact tools or excessive leverage. Keep the extension aligned with the fastener axis to reduce side loads and prolong tool life.
