• Running professional engineering or data processing software

When it may not be suitable

This laptop may not be ideal for users seeking an ultra-lightweight device for basic daily tasks like web browsing and word processing, as its high-performance hardware contributes to increased weight and power consumption. Additionally, because it comes pre-installed with FreeDOS, users who require a ready-to-use system with a pre-activated operating system will need to install one separately.

Key specifications

• 15.3-inch WUXGA IPS display with 165Hz refresh rate
• AMD Ryzen 7 8745HX processor
• 24GB system memory
• 1TB solid state drive storage
• NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 dedicated graphics

How to use

To begin using the laptop, connect the power adapter to a stable electrical outlet and plug it into the device. Since the laptop operates on FreeDOS, install your preferred operating system using a bootable USB drive before attempting to run standard software applications. Once the operating system is installed, install the latest drivers from the manufacturer website to ensure optimal hardware performance and stability. Position the laptop on a flat, hard surface to maintain unobstructed airflow around the ventilation grilles during extended operation.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that you have a compatible operating system license ready for installation
• Consider the physical weight and dimensions if you plan to transport the laptop daily
• Assess your storage and memory needs to ensure the included specifications meet your long-term requirements
• Ensure you have access to external peripherals such as a gaming mouse for optimal usability

Usage recommendations: For optimal longevity and performance, keep the ventilation paths clear of dust and obstructions during use. When running demanding games or rendering software, using the device connected to the power adapter is recommended to ensure maximum hardware performance. Avoid placing the laptop on soft surfaces like beds or couches that may restrict airflow and lead to elevated operating temperatures.
