Access Point HPE Aruba Networking AP-303HR 2.4 GHz 5 GHz Wi-Fi 802.11ac
The HPE Aruba Networking AP-303HR is a dual-band access point supporting 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi‑Fi 802.11ac with a maximum client data rate of 867 Mbit/s. The unit includes a desk stand (assembled and attached), an installed RJ45 jumper cable and a power adapter with a European (europlug) AC power cord. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified installation and has three Ethernet LAN (RJ‑45) ports. The access point is designed in white and has a compact form factor suitable for office and enterprise environments.
The AP-303HR offers dual-band connectivity and Wi‑Fi 802.11ac performance for mixed device environments and supports IEEE 802.3af/at PoE for flexible mounting without a nearby power outlet. With gigabit Ethernet LAN rates (10/100/1000 Mbit/s) and low maximum power consumption (9.7 W), the device balances performance and energy efficiency. The included desk stand, preinstalled RJ45 jumper cable and EU power cord simplify out-of-the-box setup.
Mount the AP-303HR on a desk using the attached stand or install it on a suitable surface following the product manual. Connect a network cable to one of the RJ45 ports; if using PoE, connect the PoE-enabled switch or injector to provide power and network connectivity in a single cable. If required, plug the provided European power adapter into a compatible outlet. Configure SSIDs, security settings and radio parameters via your Aruba management interface or controller according to network policies.
Place the access point centrally in the coverage area and avoid large metal obstacles. Use the 5 GHz band for high-throughput devices and 2.4 GHz for wider coverage and legacy clients. Ensure the connected PoE switch meets IEEE 802.3af/at requirements for reliable power delivery.
