The HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10+ v2 server is a compact entry-level server designed for small offices, home offices and small businesses that need a customizable on-premises or hybrid-cloud capable solution. This Ultra Micro Tower model is powered by an Intel Pentium Gold G6405 4.1 GHz processor and 16 GB DDR4 memory, supports up to four 3.5" drives and up to 64 GB of DDR4 ECC UDIMM, and can be positioned horizontally or vertically to fit different workspace layouts.
The server offers a small footprint with flexible placement and delivers improved compute performance through Intel Xeon E or Intel Pentium Gold processors and up to 64 GB of 3200 MT/s DDR4 ECC UDIMM. Built-in management and security features include HPE iLO with Silicon Root of Trust, secure firmware recovery, optional TPM and support for HPE InfoSight and HPE OneView. Four embedded 1 GbE ports and USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A provide modern connectivity, while optional network cards and RAID support enable expandability for growing needs.
Place the server horizontally or vertically according to available space and connect power, network and storage devices. Install operating system and management software using HPE Intelligent Provisioning and, if required, configure RAID arrays with the included RAID options or via supported controller cards. Enable remote management by installing the optional iLO Enablement kit for a dedicated iLO port, and register the server with HPE InfoSight or HPE OneView for centralized monitoring and lifecycle management.
For reliable operation in small business environments, use ECC-capable DDR4 memory up to the supported 64 GB, keep firmware up to date to benefit from Silicon Root of Trust and Secure Recovery features, and consider HPE Pointnext Services for deployment and ongoing support. Choose 3.5" enterprise HDDs or SSDs and configure RAID appropriate to your redundancy and performance needs.
