HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10+ server Rack 2U Intel Xeon Silver 4310 32 GB DDR4
The HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Plus server is a 2U, dual-processor rack server designed for flexible deployment across data centers and enterprise environments. Built on 3rd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors and supporting PCIe Gen4, it delivers enhanced data transfer rates and scalable expandability. Typical factory-configured features include an Intel Xeon Silver 4310 CPU, 32 GB DDR4 memory, support for up to 32 DIMMs (maximum internal memory 2048 GB), RAID support and redundant power options, making it suitable for a range of workloads that require reliability and performance.
The DL380 Gen10 Plus combines performance, expandability and platform security. It offers PCIe Gen4 support for higher networking and I/O throughput, integrated management via HPE iLO for remote monitoring and automation, and HPE InfoSight analytics to predict and prevent infrastructure issues. The server is built with end-to-end security controls across the supply chain, automated firmware recovery and one-button secure erase to protect data at retirement. Redundant power supply options and support for multiple 2.5" drives provide operational resiliency and flexible storage configurations.
Install the DL380 Gen10 Plus into a standard 2U rack space and connect required power and network interfaces. Populate memory modules in accordance with the server manual to achieve optimal performance across supported DIMM slots. Configure storage drives and RAID using the server’s management utilities or a supported RAID controller. Use HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) for initial setup, firmware updates, remote monitoring and ongoing automated management. Follow vendor instructions for BIOS tuning and workload placement recommendations to match performance with your use case.
For best results, provision memory and CPUs to meet workload requirements and enable HPE InfoSight to allow proactive issue detection. Use redundant power supplies and RAID configurations for critical services. Keep firmware and iLO up to date and perform secure erase when decommissioning the server to remove sensitive data.
