Server HPE ProLiant DL145 Gen11
The HPE ProLiant DL145 Gen11 is a 2U, single-socket edge computing server designed for retail, manufacturing, telecommunications and other industries that require reliable local processing. Powered by 4th Generation AMD EPYC 8004 (Zen4c) architecture, the server delivers up to 64 energy-efficient cores, PCIe Gen5 connectivity and high-performance EDSFF storage in a compact, quiet chassis. Built for continuous operation in challenging conditions, it can run from -5°C to 55°C and is designed to tolerate dust, shock and vibration while supporting virtualization and AI workloads at the edge.
The DL145 Gen11 reduces dependence on centralized cloud resources by handling low-latency workloads locally, offering a balance of performance and energy efficiency with AMD Siena processors and support for up to 64 cores. Its small 2U form factor supports three single-wide GPUs and EDSFF performance drives to tailor compute and storage for edge applications. Integrated management with HPE iLO and HPE Compute Ops simplifies administration across distributed locations, while the compact footprint and efficient cooling contribute to lower power use and easier deployment in constrained spaces.
Mount the server in a 2U rack position or install it on a wall or desk surface where required space and airflow are available. Configure CPU, memory, storage and GPU options according to workload needs, install operating system and virtualization or AI frameworks, then register and manage the system using HPE iLO and Compute Ops Management for remote monitoring and firmware updates. Ensure the environment maintains permissible temperature and use the included air filter and appropriate mounting to minimize dust and vibration exposure.
For edge deployments, choose drive and GPU configurations aligned with your low-latency and inference requirements, keep firmware and iLO updated, and place the server where airflow is unobstructed and dust filtration can be maintained to ensure reliable continuous operation.
