HPE AP-735 Wireless Access Point Power over Ethernet 2.4GHz 5GHz 6GHz
The HPE AP-735 Wireless Access Point (HPE Aruba Networking 730 Series) is a Power over Ethernet (PoE) campus access point that supports 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. Built to extend beyond the Wi‑Fi 7 standard, it increases 6 GHz capacity, supports large numbers of IoT devices and provides dual 5 Gbps Ethernet ports for resilient wired connectivity. The AP-735 is intended for enterprise and campus environments requiring high-speed, secure wireless coverage with accurate location-aware capabilities.
The AP-735 maximizes 6 GHz throughput by up to 30% compared with baseline implementations, includes Ultra Tri‑Band (UTB) filtering to reduce interference across bands, and doubles IoT device density support. Dual 5 Gbps RJ-45 ports improve redundancy and uplink capacity. It supports current Wi‑Fi standards (including Wi‑Fi 7 / IEEE 802.11be) and wired Ethernet speeds up to 5 Gbit/s while maintaining a compact, white enclosure suitable for enterprise deployments.
Mount the AP-735 according to site planning and cabling requirements, connect one or both RJ-45 ports to PoE-capable switches or midspans providing sufficient power, and configure the device using Aruba management tools or your network controller. Assign SSIDs, security settings and channel plans appropriate to the deployment, and enable 6 GHz features and location services if supported by your controller and client devices.
Locate access points to avoid coverage gaps and minimize co-channel and adjacent-channel interference; use both Ethernet ports for redundancy when available. Ensure switches supply PoE power compatible with the AP-735's power requirements and keep firmware up to date for best performance and security.
