Server HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10+ v2 Ultra Micro Tower, Intel Xeon E-2314 2.8 GHz, 16 GB DDR4, 180 W
The HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10+ v2 Ultra Micro Tower with Intel Xeon E-2314 2.8 GHz and 16 GB DDR4 is a compact entry-level server designed for small offices, home labs and edge deployments that need a space-efficient, reliable compute platform. This Ultra Micro Tower supports up to 64 GB of memory across two DIMM slots, accommodates up to four 3.5" SATA drives with hardware RAID support, and includes integrated Ethernet connectivity and a 180 W power supply. The chassis can be positioned horizontally or vertically to fit constrained workspaces while delivering server-grade features such as ECC memory support and on‑board NICs.
This server combines a small footprint with server-class components, providing predictable performance for everyday business workloads while preserving rack or desktop space. The Intel Xeon E series processor and ECC-capable DDR4 memory allow stable multitasking and data integrity. Hardware RAID support and multiple drive bays enable local storage flexibility and basic redundancy options. Integrated Ethernet ports and support for optional network upgrade cards simplify deployment in small office networks. The 180 W power supply and a lightweight chassis make installation and relocation straightforward.
Install the server on a stable surface or mount it in the required orientation (horizontal or vertical) to match your space. Populate memory modules into the two DIMM slots up to the desired capacity, and install up to four 3.5" SATA drives to configure storage. Configure the hardware RAID using the onboard RAID controller according to your redundancy needs, then connect network and power cables. Use HPE Intelligent Provisioning or your preferred OS installer to load an operating system and perform initial system setup, including firmware updates and iLO configuration if remote management is required.
For reliable operation, use ECC-certified DDR4 UDIMMs when expanding memory and select enterprise-class SATA drives for sustained performance. Keep firmware and management agents up to date and configure secure access for remote management. For small offices and branch deployments, consider a two-drive RAID 1 configuration for OS redundancy and additional drives for data storage, and evaluate optional network upgrade cards if higher bandwidth or fiber connectivity is required.
