Security Rooted in Hardware
Protect your infrastructure from the ground up with a silicon root of trust and the AMD Secure Processor integrated in the AMD EPYC SoC. The DL345 Gen11 ties server firmware to this trusted silicon, creating an immutable fingerprint that must match before boot—helping prevent execution of malicious code and ensuring only validated systems start.
Gen11 servers actively detect and contain compromised systems at the edge, and can prevent booting when tampering is found. IDevID certificates are installed by default to strengthen device identity and trust.
When a security event occurs, the platform supports automated recovery workflows: validated firmware is restored and operating system, applications, and data connections can be brought back quickly to return the server to normal operations.
From silicon to software and from factory to cloud, HPE ProLiant Gen11 applies a continuous, engineering-driven security approach to defend against evolving threats.
Performance Tuned for Demanding Workloads
Optimized for data-intensive tasks—such as software-defined storage, video transcoding, and dense virtualized environments—the DL345 Gen11 balances capacity, I/O and memory bandwidth to meet heavy workload demands.
Powered by 4th and 5th Generation AMD EPYC processors, the platform supports high core counts, elevated power envelopes, and large L3 caches to deliver substantial compute density for modern applications.
PCIe Gen5 connectivity, including up to six x16 Gen5 slots and two OCP slots, increases I/O throughput and reduces latency for storage and networking acceleration.
Up to 12 DIMM channels per processor and DDR5 memory (up to 6400 MT/s) raise memory bandwidth and efficiency while lowering power per workload. Built-in operational monitoring provides real-time performance feedback and BIOS tuning recommendations so you can adapt server settings to changing business needs.
