The iGET HOMEGUARD HGNVK164908 is a complete 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) PoE surveillance system including a 16-channel NVR with PoE power and eight HGNVK936CAM 4K (8MP) outdoor color PoE cameras. The set supports two-way audio, color night vision with IR and LED illumination, built-in sirens, SMART PIR motion detection, H.265 compression, ONVIF 2.6 compatibility, and remote viewing via mobile apps and PC. The NVR provides Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI/VGA video outputs, USB ports, and a bay for one SATA HDD (up to 8 TB). The package contains cabling, remote control, USB mouse and mounting accessories, user manuals in CZ/SK/EN and warning stickers.

How to use

Connect each camera to the NVR using the supplied Cat.5e/Cat.6 Ethernet cables (the set includes eight 18 m cables). The NVR supplies data and power to cameras via PoE; cable lengths can be extended up to 100 m if existing Ethernet wiring is used. Install the HDD into the recorder (SATA, up to 8 TB) for local recording. Use the included mouse or remote control for initial setup on a connected monitor (HDMI/VGA). For remote access, install the Homeguardsafe app on Android or iOS, or use the PC client/web browser for Windows/Mac. Mobile connection can be configured quickly by scanning the device QR code (P2P), no public IP or port forwarding required.

Usage recommendations

Mount outdoor cameras at a height and angle that keep the PIR detector’s 7 m effective range focused on important approaches; avoid aiming directly at moving foliage or strong light sources. Use Cat.5e/Cat.6 or better cabling for PoE, and install a compliant 3.5" SATA HDD up to 8 TB inside the NVR for reliable local storage. Regularly check firmware and app updates and configure user accounts and recording schedules according to your monitoring needs.
