iGET HOMEGUARD HGNVK936CAM is an outdoor bullet IP security camera with Ultra HD 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution, a 1/2.3" 8.0 MP CMOS sensor and a 104° angle of view. The camera is designed for day-and-night surveillance, offers color night vision supported by IR LEDs with up to 40 m illumination, dust and splash protection to IP66, two-way audio (microphone and speaker), an integrated siren and PoE power supply for direct connection to a compatible NVR such as the iGET HOMEGUARD HGNVK84904.

Advantages

How to use

Connect the camera to an NVR recorder (for example iGET HOMEGUARD HGNVK84904) using an Ethernet cable that supports data and PoE power (Cat5e, Cat6 or higher). The supplied 18 m cable with connectors can be used or existing Ethernet wiring may be used, supporting cable runs up to 100 m from the NVR to each camera. After physical connection, add the camera in the NVR interface and configure recording, network settings and PIR motion detection as required. Place the camera where the 104° field of view and PIR coverage suit the monitored area.

Usage recommendations

For reliable SMART motion detection, mount the camera so the PIR detector (located under the optics) faces the expected motion paths within its 7 m detection range; avoid aiming at HVAC vents or direct sunlight. Use Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable for PoE and keep cable runs under 100 m unless using network extenders or switches that support PoE. Regularly check firmware updates from the manufacturer and configure sensitivity and recording schedules in the NVR to reduce false alerts.
