Black and White Film Ilford 1839584 24 Shots
Ilford XP2 Super (MPN 1839584) is a 24-exposure black-and-white film that uses the colour C-41 process. Rated at ISO 400, this film delivers fine grain, sharp images and high-contrast negatives while offering an unusually wide exposure latitude. It is suitable for varied lighting conditions and is processed alongside colour negative films using standard C-41 chemistry.
XP2 Super provides high speed (ISO 400) combined with fine grain and good sharpness. Because it is developed in C-41 colour chemistry, it is widely processable at colour labs. The film produces well-defined highlights and high contrast while retaining a broad exposure latitude, making it tolerant of over- and underexposure.
Load the 35mm cartridge into any compatible 35mm film camera and shoot up to 24 exposures. Meter for ISO 400 or adjust exposure as desired to exploit the film's wide latitude; XP2 Super tolerates a range of exposures without severe loss of detail. After shooting, send the film to a lab that processes C-41 colour negative film or develop in C-41 chemistry following the manufacturer's instructions.
For best results, expose at ISO 400 under typical conditions; if you expect strong contrast or mixed lighting, bracket exposures by one stop either way. Specify C-41 processing when submitting the roll to a lab to ensure correct development.
