IMOU HX21 is a tabletop dual-band wireless router with Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) delivering combined wireless speeds up to 3000 Mbps. Designed for home and small office use, the HX21 supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, five external antennas and four Gigabit LAN ports with an RJ‑45 WAN connection. It includes modern security (WPA‑PSK/WPA2‑PSK/WPA3‑SAE) and works with the Imou Life app for remote network management.

Place the HX21 on a stable, elevated surface near the centre of the coverage area. Connect the WAN port to your modem using an Ethernet cable and power on the router. Use the Imou Life app or the web management interface to complete initial setup: configure SSID and password, select operation mode (router or repeater/mesh), and enable security settings. To add Imou cameras, enable Wi‑Fi Auto‑sync in the app so nearby Imou IPC devices can connect automatically.

Usage recommendations

For best coverage and performance, position the router away from large metal objects and sources of interference. Use Imou‑Link mesh nodes for larger homes to maintain a single SSID and seamless roaming. If Imou cameras are used, enable Stream Accelerate to prioritise camera streaming traffic.
