Imou AOV PT 5MP Turret Outdoor is a wireless IP security camera designed for outdoor wall installation. It captures 2880×1620 (5MP) video at up to 15 fps with a 1/3" CMOS sensor and a fixed 3.6 mm lens. The turret-style housing combines a weather-resistant enclosure with wireless connectivity, 8× digital zoom and built-in Always-on Video (AOV) technology to balance continuous monitoring and power savings. The camera includes a large battery with optional solar charging, supports two-way audio and accepts up to 512 GB of local storage.

The camera’s Always-on Video (AOV) mode records a low-rate frame every 2 seconds when no event is detected and instantly switches to full-frame recording when activity occurs, reducing power and storage use without missing critical moments. A built-in 10,000 mAh battery combined with solar charging and low-temperature charging capability enables extended autonomous operation, including charging down to -10 °C. Pan and tilt movement provides near-360° coverage (0°–340° pan, 0°–90° tilt), while configurable night-vision modes and automatic full-color illumination on human detection ensure clear images in low light.
