S-VGA Cable InLine 17702 1m Male/Male Grey
The InLine S-VGA Cable 17702 is a 1 m male-to-male VGA (D-Sub) cable designed for transmission of analog video signals between VGA-compatible devices. The cable contains three single-shielded coaxial lines for the RGB channels and seven data lines, and is terminated with 15-pin SVGA connectors wired 1:1 (pin 9 not connected). The connectors are blue in accordance with the PC99 standard for easy port identification.
This S-VGA cable provides double shielding overall for improved protection against interference while the individual coaxial conductors maintain signal integrity for each colour channel. The standard 15-pin D-Sub connectors with 1:1 wiring ensure straightforward compatibility with VGA monitors, projectors and graphics outputs. Its 1 m length and beige/grey colour make it suitable for typical desktop and short-distance connections.
Connect one 15-pin VGA (D-Sub) male connector to the VGA output on your computer or source device and the other to the VGA input on your monitor or projector. Tighten the connector screws by hand to ensure a secure mechanical connection. Make sure both devices are powered on and set to the correct video input. No driver installation is required for the cable itself.
For best signal quality, avoid running the VGA cable parallel to high-power mains or network cables and keep the cable length as short as practical. Use this cable for standard analog VGA resolutions; for higher resolution or longer-distance requirements consider using digital interfaces or signal extenders.
