When it may not be suitable

How to use

To use the extension cable, simply plug the TAE-N male end into your existing telephone wall socket or base cable. Then, connect your telephone, modem, or answering machine into the TAE-N female socket at the other end of the cable. Ensure that the plugs are inserted firmly until they click into place to maintain a secure and uninterrupted connection. Route the cable safely along walls or floors to prevent tripping hazards and avoid sharp bends that could damage the internal wiring.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your existing telecommunication devices and wall outlets use the TAE-N standard connector type
• Measure the required distance to ensure that the 10-meter length is sufficient for your setup
• Check that the intended devices, such as modems or answering machines, are compatible with TAE-N extension cables

For optimal performance, route the cable away from heavy power cords and electromagnetic interference sources, and avoid tightly coiling or pinching the cable during installation.
