USB 3.2 Gen.1 Cable Type A male / A male InLine 35220
USB 3.2 Gen.1 Cable Type A male / A male InLine 35220
The InLine USB 3.2 Gen.1 Cable Type A male / A male InLine 35220 is a 2 m black USB data cable with Type A connectors on both ends. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also marketed as USB 3.1 Gen 1) signaling and a maximum transfer rate of up to 5 Gbit/s, suitable for connecting external drives, hubs, docking stations and other peripherals that use standard USB Type-A ports. Gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion risk, while the cable’s construction balances flexibility and signal integrity for everyday data transfer tasks.
This USB 3.2 Gen.1 cable provides high-speed data transfer up to 5 Gbit/s and backward compatibility with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. Gold-plated contacts enhance conductivity and long-term durability. The 2 m length offers extended reach for desktop setups and home offices without requiring adapters or extenders. Designed for standard Type A ports on both ends, the cable is plug-and-play and requires no additional drivers.
Insert one USB Type-A connector into the host device (PC, laptop or hub) and plug the other Type-A connector into the peripheral (external drive, enclosure or docking station). The cable supports hot-plugging, so devices can be connected or disconnected while systems are running. For best performance, connect both ends to USB 3.x compliant ports; when used with USB 2.0 or 1.1 ports, the connection will operate at the lower supported speed.
Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and route it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For sustained high-speed transfers, connect through USB 3.x ports on both devices and ensure host and peripheral firmware or drivers are up to date.
