InLine SCSI U320 LVD/SE Terminator internal 68 Pin mini Sub-D female
InLine SCSI U320 LVD/SE Terminator internal 68 Pin mini Sub-D female
The InLine SCSI U320 LVD/SE Terminator internal 68 Pin mini Sub-D female provides a compact termination solution for SCSI U320 LVD and SE chains. Designed to connect to standard 68-pin mini Sub-D internal connectors, this terminator supports the SCSI U320 data rate and is intended for use inside computer systems or storage arrays. The unit is supplied individually and features a green housing for easy identification within racks or chassis.
This terminator is compatible with both LVD and SE SCSI U320 environments and supports the full 0.32 Gbit/s data transfer rate defined for U320. Its internal 68-pin mini Sub-D female connector provides a direct fit to common internal SCSI ports, simplifying installation without additional adapters. The single-unit supply is useful for targeted replacements or upgrades, and the coloured housing helps technicians quickly locate terminated connections.
Ensure the host and device chain are powered down before installing the terminator. Insert the 68-pin mini Sub-D female connector into the corresponding internal SCSI port at the end of the device chain, making sure the connection is seated firmly and aligned correctly. Confirm that the chain is properly terminated by verifying device communication and running any available SCSI diagnostics after powering the system back on. Remove and replace the terminator only when the system is powered off to avoid signal disruption.
Use this terminator at the physical end of a SCSI U320 chain and avoid installing multiple terminators in parallel positions. For mixed LVD/SE environments, confirm the connected devices’ signalling modes and ensure termination matches the required mode. Store spare terminators in an anti-static environment to protect contacts and maintain reliable performance.
