Cable ties InLine 160 x 4.8 mm black, tensile strength 215.7 N, 100 pcs
InLine cable ties 160 x 4.8 mm in black are a pack of 100 multifunctional nylon ties designed for bundling and securing cables, hoses and small pipes. Each tie is 160 mm long and 4.8 mm wide, with a measured tensile strength of 215.7 N and an operating temperature range from -20 °C to 85 °C. Manufactured from polyamide 6.6, these ties feature internal teeth for secure locking and resist exposure to seawater, oil and grease. The compact length and classic black colour make them suitable for general electrical, automotive and household fastening tasks.
These InLine cable ties combine a reliable tensile rating with a compact form factor suitable for confined spaces. The polyamide 6.6 construction provides good mechanical strength and chemical resistance to seawater, oil and grease, while the internal ratchet teeth ensure firm retention after installation. The ties comply with ISO EN62275, are quick to install by hand or with common cable tie tools, and are supplied in a pack of 100 for convenient onsite use and inventory control.
Insert the tail of the cable tie through the head and pull until the desired bundle diameter is reached; the internal teeth will lock the tie in place. Trim the excess tail flush with the head using scissors or cable tie cutters for a neat finish. Installation can be performed by hand for single ties or with a manual/pneumatic cable tie tool for faster and more consistent tension and cut-off when installing multiple ties.
Store the cable ties in a closed bag away from direct sunlight and strong heat sources such as radiators to avoid desiccation during prolonged storage. For outdoor or long-term UV-exposed applications, consider using ties specifically rated for UV resistance. Follow appropriate tightening practices to avoid over-tensioning that could damage bundles or insulation.
