InLine cable ties, 500 mm long and 4.8 mm wide, are designed for general cable fastening and multipurpose securing tasks. Made of polyamide 6.6 in beige, this pack of 100 ties offers a tensile strength of 215.7 N and an operating temperature range from -20 °C to 85 °C. The ties feature integrated locking teeth for reliable hold and are abrasion-resistant and resistant to seawater, oil and grease, making them suitable for household, workshop and installation use.
The nylon construction provides high mechanical strength and wear resistance while remaining lightweight. Locking teeth ensure secure, vibration-resistant fastening without additional tools, and the smooth tail end allows easy insertion and tightening by hand. Chemical resistance to oil, grease and seawater extends the usable life in demanding environments. The beige finish gives a neutral appearance for visible installations.
Guide the tie around the bundle to be secured, insert the tail end through the locking head and pull until the desired tension is reached. The integrated locking teeth engage automatically to prevent slippage. For the best result, ensure the bundle is evenly aligned before tightening and avoid over-tensioning to prevent damage to cables or hoses. If a neater finish is required, cut the excess tail close to the head and, if needed, file or melt the cut edge to reduce burrs.
Store cable ties in a closed bag away from direct sunlight and strong heat sources to avoid drying and loss of mechanical properties. For outdoor or UV-exposed applications, consider specialised UV-stabilised ties. Use appropriate tensioning cutters for repetitive professional use to achieve consistent tension and clean cuts.
