Sleeving InLine self-closing black Ø10mm, 1 m, polyester, -50–150 °C
InLine self-closing sleeving in black is a braided polyester cable protection sleeve with a 10 mm diameter and 1 m length. Constructed with a woven polypropylene outer jacket and a polyester fabric inner hose, it provides a lightweight, flexible solution for bundling and protecting electrical wiring in industrial, automotive and general installation environments. The sleeving is designed to resist abrasion and flame, and operates across a wide temperature range from −50 to 150 °C, making it suitable for applications that require mechanical protection and thermal stability.
The combination of a PP outer jacket and a polyester inner braid yields a sleeve that is very light yet mechanically robust, offering high abrasion resistance and good thermal insulation. Its self-closing design enables quick installation without additional fasteners, and the construction provides increased flame resistance for safer cable routing. Two sleeves can be used independently or joined to extend coverage, allowing flexible deployment and easy adaptation to different cable lengths.
Open the self-closing braided sleeve and insert cable bundles along the split, or feed cables through the sleeve from one end before closing. Position the sleeving so it covers the area requiring protection and, if necessary, secure the ends with appropriate clamps, ties or heat-resistant tape to prevent movement. For longer runs, two sleeves may be joined end-to-end to achieve the required length. Ensure that the sleeve is not compressed beyond its nominal diameter to maintain thermal and mechanical performance.
For best results, route cables to avoid sharp edges and secure the sleeving at regular intervals. When used in high-temperature zones, leave small gaps at cable joints to prevent heat buildup and consider additional heat shielding where exposure approaches the upper temperature limit.
