Sleeving InLine self-closing 25 mm diameter, polyester, black, 5 m
Self-closing sleeving InLine, 25 mm diameter, 5 m length, made from a polyester inner braid and a woven polypropylene jacket in black. This sleeving is designed to protect, route and insulate cable bundles in electrical and automotive applications. The construction combines a lightweight outer jacket with a flexible polyester inner hose to deliver abrasion resistance, good thermal stability and simple installation where temporary or permanent protection of wiring is needed.
The InLine self-closing sleeving offers a low-weight solution with high abrasion and flame resistance and a wide operating temperature range from -50 °C to 150 °C. Its braided polyester core provides flexibility and mechanical protection while the woven polypropylene outer layer improves durability and handling. The self-closing design enables quick installation around existing harnesses without disconnecting connections. Two sleeves can be used independently or combined to extend coverage.
Place the self-closing sleeving around the cable bundle and press the overlapping edges together so the braid closes around the cables. For existing harnesses, open the sleeve, position it around the wires and release to self-close. Two sleeves can be fitted sequentially or overlapped to increase length or protection. Trim to the required length using scissors or cable cutters, ensuring clean cut ends to avoid fraying; secure ends with heat-shrink tubing, tape or cable ties if required.
Use the sleeving within the specified temperature range and avoid prolonged exposure to direct flames or aggressive chemicals. For installations exposed to heavy abrasion or sharp edges, add additional protective tape or conduit at stress points. When combining two sleeves, overlap by at least 20–30 mm to maintain continuous protection.
