The InLine Patch cable S/FTP PiMf Cat.8.1 2000MHz halogen-free grey 5m is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding network environments. It supports frequencies up to 2000 MHz and uses S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair with overall braid) construction and Pair in Metal Foil (PiMf) to minimize crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. This 5 metre, halogen-free cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and is suitable for structured cabling, server rooms and high-speed data links where reliable signal integrity is required.
The cable’s S/FTP PiMf design provides enhanced shielding for each twisted pair plus an overall braid, offering superior protection against near-end and far-end crosstalk and external EMI. A rated frequency of up to 2000 MHz enables support for higher data rates and future-proofing of network infrastructure. The halogen-free jacket reduces hazardous emissions in case of fire and the grey outer sheath gives a neutral, professional appearance suitable for visible installations. RJ-45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with network equipment.
Connect one RJ-45 end to the network interface of a switch, router or server and the other end to the corresponding device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and latched to establish a secure electrical and mechanical connection.
