Caliper INSIZE digital plastic 150 mm 6" 3V/SQ model 1139-150
Digital plastic caliper INSIZE model 1139-150 offers a 150 mm (6") measuring range in a lightweight, corrosion-resistant plastic body. Battery powered (3V), it provides direct digital readout for inside, outside, depth and step measurements and switches between metric and imperial units. The instrument is designed for quick, portable linear measurements in workshop, hobby and inspection environments where ease of use and low weight are required.
The caliper's plastic construction reduces weight and resists corrosion, making it suitable for humid or light-contaminant environments. A clear digital display gives immediate numeric results and unit switching avoids manual conversions. Battery operation ensures portability; the instrument is ready for use without additional tools. The sliding mechanism is simple to operate for rapid repetitive measurements.
Slide the jaws to contact the feature to be measured and read the value on the digital display. For inside measurements, insert the inside jaws and expand until they touch the internal surfaces; for outside measurements, close the outside jaws around the object. Use the depth blade or the step faces for depth and step measurements respectively. Switch between metric and imperial units as needed. Zero the display at a closed jaw position before critical series measurements to ensure consistency.
Store the caliper in a dry location and avoid exposing the electronic display and battery compartment to liquids or heavy contaminants. Clean jaws before measurement to maintain accuracy and replace the battery when display dimming or inconsistent readings occur. For critical measurements, verify accuracy periodically against a calibrated standard.
