Feeler Gauge INSIZE MWSB 0.05–1.00 mm, Length 100 mm is a compact set of precision-ground blades for measuring gaps, clearances and thicknesses in mechanical assemblies. The set contains multiple thin blades with thicknesses ranging from 0.05 mm up to 1.00 mm and a 100 mm blade length suitable for reaching narrow spaces and verifying tolerances during maintenance, adjustment and assembly tasks. The tool is made for use where accurate, repeatable gap measurement is required, such as valve clearances, mating fits and shims checking.
The feeler gauge offers a range of thin, precision-ground blades that provide consistent thickness values across the specified range, enabling accurate measurement of small clearances. Its 100 mm blade length improves access to recessed or hard-to-reach joints while maintaining stability during measurement. The compact format is easy to carry and store, making it practical for workshop, service vehicle or toolbox use. Material and finish resist normal workshop wear and allow smooth insertion between mating parts.
Select the blade or combination of blades that correspond to the nominal gap you need to check. Gently insert the blade between the mating surfaces and feel for a slight drag; a light resistance indicates the correct fit. If the blade is too loose or too tight, try a thicker or thinner blade or combine blades to achieve the target thickness. Use the 100 mm blade length to reach recessed areas, aligning the blade along the gap while keeping steady hands to avoid bending the blade. After use, wipe blades clean of dirt and lubricant before folding them back into the holder.
To preserve measurement accuracy, clean contact surfaces before measuring and avoid applying excessive force that can deform blades. Store the set in a dry place and apply light corrosion protection if the tool will be stored for a long period in humid conditions.
